The Afterglow

So, guess what Ladies....WE DID IT!!!! We completed the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer! It wasn't always pretty, but we did it!!

We walked, laughed, and cried. We had warm showers, hot chocolate, and soothing massages (Jennifer now knows WAY more than she wanted about the knots in my back). We got wet, shivered, and tossed and turned all night. And then we walked, laughed, and cried all over again.

What an amazing experience this was for me to go through all that we did with all of you. Thank you all for supporting each other, making each other laugh, crying with those of us whose emotions were high, and for making this weekend more memorable for me than I am capable of describing.

...now go add more ice and continue soaking those feet!
