This message is out of order but I wanted to keep a Blog of all our communications.
At our team meeting on Friday I decided that maybe I need to do a bit of training after all. Saturday morning – bright and early – I put my first 10 mile walk under my belt. It took me about 2 ½ hours. It was beautiful! I saw parts of Reston that I haven’t seen for a long time, some spring flowers were beginning to pop, and at times I was totally lost in deep thought! The purpose of this message is two fold. 1) We all better start taking this training thing seriously. I felt fine all day Saturday and slept very well that night. However, Sunday came along and my shins hurt so bad I could barely touch them. My back – oh….my….gosh…..! Even the Advil didn’t help much. Back of my thighs – forget about it. Seriously – start training!!!!!!!!!!!! 2) Does anyone know how to set up a Blog on our team site? I think it would be tons of fun to enter our training logs, tips and tricks, and thoughts throughout this process - and, what a blast to look back on after we’ve each completed this challenge. What do you guys think?
